Researchers at the journal Fertility and Sterility hooked thermometers up to the balls of 29 men then set laptops on their knees, and the results were disturbing to say the least. Researchers found that men’s testicles heat up to passed what is considered a safe temperature in merely the first ten minutes. The overheating is bad for many reasons, but most importantly because it slows down sperm production, lowering sperm count and lessening chances of fertility. Therefore, it is especially bad if you are trying to conceive children. Researchers suggest putting a pad or pillow between your your laptop and your junk to avoid excessive heat on the area.
