Three NFL teams have contacted the Washington Redskins about potentially acquiring Kirk Cousins.

The Cleveland Browns have been searching for a starting quarterback since rejoining the league. The Browns have the ammo to make this trade happen. Having two first round draft picks may get the Redskins to listen a little bit. One thing is for sure is that Cousins would not be happy about heading to Cleveland.

Another team that would make sense here is the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers just hired a new coach this off season in Kyle Shanahan. Cousins would prefer to be sent out West. This would make a lot of sense. Shanahan is the former offensive coordinator of Cousins.

The third team has not been made public, though I would not be surprised if it was the New York Jets.

In the end I believe we see Cousins stay in Washington this year and if it all next season would be the year he leaves and most likely heads out West.
