Sleep is very important for the mind, body and soul. If you do not get enough sleep for the next day, it’s going to be a rough one. You will be dragging ass all day long. I mean you will try everything from coffee to a 5 hour energy drink to anything with sugar to keep you awake. I even tried jumping jacks to stay awake. Nothing will work, but sleep.

Their are five things you do everyday that are wrong as soon as you wake up from sleeping. The first one is you hit the snooze button on your alarm. The best solution is try and go to bed earlier the night before and make sure you get the right amount of sleep and stick to it. The second thing is checking your emails once you wake up, once you start this, you will never be the same. Your best bet is to try and wait about an hour after you wake up to look at your emails. The third thing is drinking coffee while you are getting ready for work. You should be drinking coffee between 8am-9am because your body produces higher amounts of energy, so do yourself a favor and start drinking coffee after 9:30am. The fourth thing you are doing wrong is not eating breakfast. This is the most important meal of the day because it jump starts your metabolism and replenishes Blood-Sugar Levels. Not eating will make you irritable and you will have a hard time concentrating. The last is never get to work late. Try and make it to the office as early as possible. This will give you a head start in the morning.

Following these five things will help you get sleep and have a healthier and more productive lifestyle.
