The next Chazz Michael Michaels?

Russian men’s figure skater and Olympic hopeful Andrei Lutai was arrested November 15th following an ice skating competition in Lake Placid, New York. Lutai reportedly was wasted and stole 2008 Impala from a local garage; this followed the Skate America competition, an Olympic qualifier, in which he placed tenth. Lutai, of St. Petersburg, Russia, faces both felony and misdemeanor charges, including grand larceny, criminal possesion of stolen property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and aggravated driving while intoxicated. The felony charges are expected to be dropped so that Lutai, 23, can return back to the former USSR. Local reports from Lake Placid quoted the owner of the garage  from which the Chevy was stolen (and who coincidentally is on the host committee that sponsored the Skate America event) as saying, “Everybody’s entitled to one mistake.”
