The Florida State Seminoles came out and played great on both sides of the ball Saturday night. The Nole player of the game had to be FSU running back Jermaine Thomas. Thomas ran for 78 yards and two touchdowns, and caught two passes for 34 yards and a touchdown. FSU defense also had a stellar night as Miami QB Jacory Harris completed less than 40% of his passes. They Nole’s defense also held the Hurricanes to 6 of 18 third down conversions essentially shutting their offense down with three and outs. There was no question for anyone in the stands that Florida State was the better team on this Saturday night. They just played like they wanted it more and made all the big plays. Florida State and NC State are the teams to beat in the Atlantic Division now, and the Seminoles are the new team to beat in the ACC. With Miami and Florida State the ACC’s only two ranked teams in the Associated Press poll, the Seminoles should now jump the Canes and become the ACC’s top team.
FLORIDA STATE, FLORIDA STATE, FLORIDA STATE, WAHOOOOO!
