While disgraced attorney Scott Rothstein casually ate lunch at The Capital Grille in Fort Lauderdale, FBI agents began seizing his assets, even though Rothsein has not been officially charged with a crime. The US Attorney’s office for the Southern District of Florida is connecting the dots of what special agent in charge John Gillies says could total a ten-figure fraud scheme, potentially exceeding the billion-dollar mark. Some of the toys the FBI confiscated from Rothstein include:
