Ravens safety Matt Elam was arrested this morning after being pulled over for reckless driving in Miami.

Elam was was booked at around 3:45 this morning on three felonies, marijuana possession of more than 20 grams, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell, and possession of a controlled substance. Elam was being held on $15,000 bail.

According to police Elam had 126 grams of marijuana and three grams of oxycodone in his vehicle when he was pulled over.

Elam was a first round pick by the Baltimore Ravens back in 2013. The Ravens had already decided they were not going to pick up his fifth year option this upcoming season making him a free agent.

Elam is looking at a suspension from the NFL for the current charges he is facing right now. This would not be his first time suspended, back in October of 2105 Elam was suspended one game for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.
