news-journalonline.com – DAYTONA BEACH — A woman died early Saturday after a car rear-ended her motorcycle in a late-night crash, then ran over her as bystanders tried to help, police said.
Christine Fancher, 24, of Ormond Beach, died of her injuries just before 5 a.m. Saturday, according to Daytona Beach Police Sgt. Jimmie Flynt.
Flynt said Fancher was riding a motorcycle southbound on Atlantic Avenue approaching Auditorium Boulevard. Her fiance was about 50 feet in front of her on another motorcycle.
About 8:50 p.m., police said, a dark Ford Probe rear-ended Fancher’s motorcycle and ejected her from it.
Fancher landed under the Probe, which witnesses said had been speeding. Flynt said bystanders rushed to pull her out, but the driver of the car “floored the vehicle, running over the victim and her motorcycle” and continued south on Atlantic before turning west on Main Street.
Police said the car, which probably had some front-end damage, might not have left the beachside.
Several witnesses gave police a tag number for the Probe, but there were discrepancies — it was either a Florida or Michigan tag of 167824.
Police issued a BOLO (Be On the Lookout) alert for the car Saturday morning, describing the driver as a heavy-set white man with shoulder-length dirty blonde or brown hair and a full goatee of the same color. He was wearing a tank top and backwards dark hat, witnesses said.

From http://www.reddit.com/user/HelpMeFindHim – I need your help. I don’t want your money, your arbitrary gifts, secret santas, etc…I have but one humble request: Help me find my close family member’s killer. She was 24, in love with the man of her dreams and had the world at her disposal. She was run down last night by some maniac in Florida while she was on a motorcycle drive. The rat fuck that did it ran over her again in his zeal to escape the scene. He remains at large. Reddit; my family is in pieces over this…I’m linking you to the news story just so you know I am not trolling you. Police can’t seem to find this guy despite having the make and model of car as well as the lic. plate number. I’m just hoping that someone here knows this guy, sees this car, something. Anything.
