So, now a “Real Housewife” has a sex tape. It is fitting that Danielle Staub is the housewife that would have this tape released. Staub is infamous for being the housewife the rest of the cast hates. She is also the most controversial of all the ladies. Staub, who is clearly the ratings booster, is constantly the subject of website and tabloid gossip with allegations and stories of a party-girl past, involvement in the use and sale of drugs, sex, run-ins with the law and mafia ties.
Danielle Staub recently said her new sex tape, slated for release by Hustler, Inc., was stolen from her. The tape is scheduled for release on Monday, June 14 – smack in the middle of the highly-rated Bravo show’s second season.
Staub said she won’t fight the release of the tape, telling www.TMZ.com “if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em.” The mother of two boasted that she could likely outsell fellow reality star Kendra Wilkinson’s sex tape.
It had been reported that Staub’s new tape was also offered to Vivid Entertainment, who in the past distributed sex tapes starring the likes of Kim Kardashian and Pamela Anderson, but they were not interested.
“When we saw the Kendra Wilkinson footage for the first time, we knew immediately that with her looks and personality, our audience would love it. Over a period of several months we were offered two different Danielle Staub tapes by different third parties,” Steven Hirsch, founder/co-chairman of Vivid Entertainment said. “But we didn’t have the same ‘feeling’ about the Staub footage and so we decided to pass.”
This isn’t the first time that Staub has been embroiled in a tape scandal. Last June the reality star, with her attorney Darren Del Sardo, was successful in blocking an ex-boyfriend from selling a tape. But this time round, there has been no mention of hiring an attorney or taking legal action against Hustler Inc. or the undisclosed individual who brokered the deal. In fact, a rep from Hustler told us that the tape (which co-stars a mystery man who has gone on record that he does not want his identity revealed) was shot last September, several months after Staub joined the “Real Housewives” cast, and less than three months after she took legal action to have the first one banned.
But even after all this, the sex tape controversy didn’t stop Staub from taking to the stage on Tuesday night and showing off a few suggestive moves to celebrate the one-year-anniversary (under new management) of legendary gentleman’s club, SCORES. We’re told the reality star (who recently admitted she was once an exotic dancer) seemed in good spirits at the party, but stayed mum when it came to the topic of her racy new “role.”
Treez Says: This woman is pretty much a whore. That is not a bad thing, nor does it make her a bad person. It may make her a bad mother. It does also make her a smart businesswoman. This tape will sell. This show is at the height of its popularity and she is the driving force behind that. Plus, she is a total MILF in a real trashy way and that goes a long way.
