MOJO! A word that has many meanings. Spiritual, Sensual and above all Food. This restaurant built from the ground up by two amazing people, partners of thirty one years Domenick Facione and Anthony Demato. These two gentlemen have created a great place for you to take that special someone for any special occasion or even just for a nice dinner on the town. From the intimate light setting, gorgeous art work created by Domenick (also for sale if you wish to have a one of a kind piece in your home) to the live music and beyond amazing food and deserts.
So to start off there food is absolutley delectable, from start to finish. You must try there Baked Escargot (artichoke hearts, feta, grape tomatoes, garlic butter, & white wine) and Beef Carpaccio (arugula, shaved reggiano parmesan EVOO, and spicy aoli) as a starter. Then going into your main course the Ahi Tuna with wasabi mash potatoes which is a house special, if that isn’t taking tickling your tastebuds already, then the Duck Breast is the way to go. The Duck Breast (House Favorite) which is pan roasted with sauteed red kraut and apples, rasberry butter, and a creamy cauliflower-goat cheese puree. These two dishes are great served medium rare to rare and will melt in your mouth from start to finish. Finally making your way into my most favorite part, the deserts. Theses change daily and are prepared to order by the excellent sous chef Pauline Hrabousky. A must try is the Key Lime pie with a macadamia crust topped with whip cream and the flourless chocolate cake. A big thumbs up to our server Tom Armaly for being very prompt and making sure the table was satisfied and full.
A big thank you to everyone at MOJO for creating the perfect experience. From the complimentary valet service, to a gratious host, fantastic owners and prompt servers. This is an absolute “TO DO” and must go. I wish MOJO the best of luck and cant wait to dine there in the near future. Keep up the great work!
