Amy Locane who played “Sandy” on the original Melrose Place was charged with vehicular homicide last night in Montgomery New Jersey. The former TV star was arrested after crashing into the side of another car killing the cars passenger. Locane was arrested on the scene for DUI, then taken to a local hospital on her way to jail. During the arrest Locane admitted to the police that she had several glasses of wine before getting behind the wheel of the vehicle. She was charged by the prosecutors office, who went on to say that Locane had also been involved in a minor hit and run earlier in the evening. The actress faces 5-10 years in prison if convicted.
