Melissa Cochran is finally standing up after she survived the London attack back on March 22, when Khalid Masood, 52 mowed down pedestrians on Westminster Bridge. Melissa and her husband Kurt Cochran were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary  in London.

Kurt was killed and Melissa suffered a broken leg, a broken rib and cuts to her head during the attack. Her brother Clint Payne posted a photo of her on a verified GoFundMe website account and it was captioned with this quote: “What lies behind you and what lies in front of you, pales in comparison to what lies inside of you.”

The London attacker was shot dead by a police firearms office at the scene. Four other people died and dozens were injured in the attack. Masood also stabbed a police officer who was guarding the Houses of parliament. The entire attack lasted only 82 seconds.

The police do not believe that Masood was involved with ISIS or al Qaeda, no one is sure what prompted the attack.
