Mark Zuckerberg just donated 1oo Million dollars to Newark Schools on the exact same day as the release of the movie depicting his life, The Social Network. Some say the donation is a PR stunt because Zuckerberg is portrayed in a negative light in the movie. However, Zuckerberg just appeared on Oprah saying otherwise “My $100 million donation is about the kids” said Zuckerberg. Who went on to say he had been talking about the donation for ages and was going to announce it last month but some things had come up. When asked about the negative spotlight the film was bringing him, Zuckerberg had this to say,

“It’s a movie, it’s fun. A lot of it is fiction, but even the filmmakers will say that. They’re trying to build a good story. This is my life, so I know it’s not that dramatic. The last six years have been a lot of coding and focus and hard work. But maybe it would be fun to remember it as partying and all this crazy drama, so who knows, maybe it will be a good story.”
