Brock Lesnar returned to the UFC after his life threatening illness took place last night in Las Vegas. The champ beat Shane Carwin (the interm champ) in a thrilling come from behind victory. The fight didnt start well for Lesnar who was dropped by a Carwin uppercut that was followed by barrage of punches in the opening round. However they don’t call him the champ for nothing as Lesnar was able to weather the storm and make it to the second round. Once the second round began the tide turned and Lesnar took over, getting Carwin with an early takedown. After the takedown the champ showed his ever improving MMA style as he submitted Shane Carwin with a triangle choke. The match was Lesnars longest to date lasting over 3 minutes and 48 seconds.
