LeBron James and the Miami Heat went into Cleveland (LeBron’s former team if you live under a rock) and whipped the crap outta the Cavs. They jumped out to a 59-40 lead at the half and never looked back. ‘King James’ lead the Heat with a season high 38 points along with 5 boards and 8 assists. BTW…he did all of that in just three quarters, as he didn’t even play the 4th.

It was quite clear he was highly motivated to shove it right into their faces in Cleveland. And he did just that.

It was James’ first game back in Cleveland (with the Heat) where he played for seven years and won back-to-back MVP awards, but failed to win the NBA championship.

Before the game, fans killed him with obscene chants and booed every time he appeared on the TV screens beneath the scoreboard. They held signs that read, “Quitness” and “Play Like It’s Game Five” — a reference to his playoff failure against Boston last season, when many fans — and owner Dan Gilbert — felt James had quit on the team. There were even five guys wearing a single letter each on their white T-shirts that spelled out: LeBum.

This game was tense. Even the assistant coach for the Cavs told LeBron to “Shut the f*ck up,” when he was standing in front of the Cleveland bench talking trash.

The game was so out of hand, that James sat on the bench for all of the fourth quarter, with dozens of security guards and police lining the team’s entrance to the court and guarding against objects thrown at him. After the clock ran out, he left without incident.

“I have the utmost respect for this franchise, the utmost respect for these fans,” James said afterward.

If you were smart, you had A LOT of money on the Heat last night just knowing LeBron was licking his chops, waiting for this moment.
