After a New York Yankees loss to the rival New York Mets over the weekend, superstar singer/dancer Lady Gaga talked her way past security and into the Yankees’ clubhouse. She reportedly drank whiskey while wearing a bikini bottom and a pinstriped jersey that was unbuttoned to reveal her bra. Several Yankees, including Robinson Cano and Alex Rodriguez, visited with her.
The New York Post reported Sunday that Yankees Co-Chairman Hal Steinbrenner reacted by permanently barring her from the locker room. The reason for the ban, besides that she toured the clubhouse without team permission after a loss, was that she was drunkenly slurring her words and groping her breasts while trying to meet the players, reports the NY Post.
Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman contended that she’s not banned, and “That was the wrong time and the wrong place. It’s been taken care of.” Cashman added it was “not her fault.”
Lady Gaga is already less than welcome at Mets games, having flipped off photographers at a Shea home game.
