LeBron James is a legend. If you didn’t know already, here is some further proof. In a tied 2-2 series with the Indianan Pacers, James broke the tie on Wednesday night (the 25th of April). And not only did he break the tie, he shattered it into a million pieces. It is one of those kind of daggers that you say, “They (the Pacers) are not going to be able to come back from that. Too heartbreaking.”

First, he blocked the Pacer’s Victor Oladipo’s game-winning layup attempt by pinning his shot against the backboard. A timeout was then called immediately. (Heads Up, Cleveland) Then King James scored the GAME WINNING three-pointer off of a very easy inbound pass (shame on you Indiana), in which James just stopped and popped off of the dribble at the top of the key. A very hard shot, to be honest. A set shot obviously would have been easier to make. But LeBron doesn’t need it to be easy. He seems to thrive when things get harder.

This was a huge shot as it broke the tie in a very tight series. This Cleveland team may not be quite as impressive as Cleveland Cavalier teams of the past (and certainly not on the level of the James/Miami Heat years), but they are fighting to stay alive in this first round of the 2018 NBA Playoffs. And as long as they have James they have a shot in every game that they play. James had a whopping 44 points, along with 10 rebounds and 8 assists.

This year, more than ever, it seems like James is going to have to carry a team on his back. There just isn’t a true supporting cast around him. Certainly not one that should put them in the title game. But stranger things have happened before. When you have LeBron anything is possible!
