Gucci Mane (aka Radric Davis) was arrested in Atlanta this afternoon after police discovered the rapper driving his vehicle down the wrong side of the road.

The Brick Squad star was charged with running a red light or stop sign, damage to government property, obstruction, no license, no proof of insurance and other traffic charges, in addition to the driving on the wrong side of the road. Police had to use pepper spray to get Gucci into custody. The incident happened around 11:30 AM according to police.

An off-duty police officer saw a white Hummer driving recklessly while traveling south on Northside Drive. Additional police units were notified — and officers eventually found the Hummer parked at a business in the 1100 block of Northside Drive.┬áBesides finding the Hummer, they saw two people in a verbal dispute.Officers tried to break up the fight, but Mane hit the other person, who police did not name. Police then used pepper spray to subdue him.

He was taken first to Grady Memorial Hospital to be checked before being transported to the Fulton County Jail.

Mane’s arrest comes just a few months after he was he was released from the Fulton County Jail for violating his parole. Records show he has been in the Fulton County Jail at least five times since 2005 on drug, aggravated assault or aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges. He has had a history of drug issues and emotional instability following a shooting he was involved in.

As if this wasn’t bad enough, there are a ton of internet rumors claiming that Gucci has a serious coke problem that he recently checked into rehab for in October. His whole squad was involved in a stand-off where they were basically begging Gucci Mane to turn himself over to rehab.

Gucci has never really admitted to cocaine use. He blamed marijuana as the reason he failed a drug test that landed back in prison in 2008 for violating his probation.
