The FYE in The Johnstown shopping center will be closing it’s doors for good on March 30, 2017. Heather Reppenhagen the stores general manager said that the closing is not due poor sales, but due to “somebody bought the space out of the lease”. The new business set to occupy the space is unknown. The closing of the store will leave eight employees now looking for work. The following message was seen on the FYE Johnstown facebook page.:
“After 10 years of service to the 518 area we are sad to announce that our store will be closing and our last day of business will be March 30th. We are more saddened by this news than you can imagine and have worked so very hard these past few years to create a community here with you all.
Ultimately, our hearts are hurting to lose this store and the consistent contact with the friends we’ve made along the way but, continue to turn the music up, and remember who was here for YOUR entertainment.
Heather, Travis, Zach, Kristin, Brad, Kayla, Neil, lil, Sam (FYE FAMILY)”
