The Miami Dolphins trounced The Oakland Raiders Sunday Afternoon by the score 33-17. This was the Dolphins most convincing victory of the season, thanks in large part to Quarterback Chad Henne returning from injury to the starting lineup. Henne threw for 307 passing yards and 2 touchdowns with Devone Bess hauling 6 receptions for 111 yards to lead the receiving core.
The Dolphins defense played fantastic, shutting down the Raiders vaunted rushing attack, limiting running back Darren McFadden to a meager 2 yards on 8 carries. Raider Quarterback Bruce Gradkowski did not fair much better throwing 2 interceptions and lead his offense in the 2nd half to a mere 3 points.
The Dolphins (6-5) kept their slim playoff hopes alive winning yet another game away from home improving their road record to 5-1. The Dolphins will return home to Sun Life Stadium, where they are a dismal 1-4, next week to take on the hard running Peyton Hillis and the (4-7) Cleveland Browns in a must win situation.
