The Miami Dolphins won their 4th road game in a row on Halloween Sunday courtesy of the leg of Dan Carpenter. For the 2nd game in a row, the 2009 Pro Bowl kicker converted on 5 field goal attempts propelling The Dolphins to a 22-14 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, thus remaining unbeaten on the road in 2010.  Carpenter’s stellar performance made him just the 10th kicker to total 10 converted field goals in back to back games since 1950.

The real story behind Carpenter’s success in leading the Dolphins to there 4th win of the season, was the play of  the Miami Dolphins Defense, which held The Bengals offense to zero 1st downs in the 3rd quarter and did not surrender a single point to Cincinnati in the 2nd half. This was personified when The Bengals drove to Miami’s 22 yard line with 2:43 remaining in the game and Dolphins Corner Back Sean Smith intercepted a Carson Palmer pass intended for Terrell Owens to seal the victory.

Next Sunday the Dolphins will, once again, have their 2010 unbeaten road record put to the test, when they travel to Maryland to take on Ray Lewis & The Baltimore Ravens.
