Long time Cowboys and Broncos pass rusher DeMarcus Ware has decided it was time to hang up the cleats.

Ware, 34, who most recently played for the Denver Broncos has decided it was time to retired from the NFL. Ware said he was hearing promising offers, but just felt it was his time to move on.

In saying goodbye, he noted: “Long term health and quality of life outweigh the spark and passion to play that I once had.”

Ware was part of the Broncos Super Bowl win in 2016 against the Carolina Panthers. If he stays true to his decision, he leaves with 138.5 career sacks, which is eighth on the all-time list.
