Chris HenryCincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry died Thursday morning December 17th, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Police say his death was the result of an auto accident that followed a domestic dispute with his fiance, Loleini Tonga. Charlotte police investigators say Henry jumped into the back of a pickup truck in order to prevent Tonga from leaving her parents house following an argument between them, possibility over the projected costs for their planned wedding. As Tonga drove off, Henry, who had a history of over-the-top behavior, was thrown from the back of the vehicle, sustaining what a Bengels spokesman called “grave” injuries. Bengals owner Mike Brown said he was sad that Henry’s personal growth had been stunted. “He had worked through troubles in his life, and had finally seemingly reached the point where everything would blossom, and he was going to have the future we all wanted for him and he wanted for himself,” Brown said. Bengels teammates where noticeably upset but went on with their Thursday afternoon practice.
