This past weekend’s Orlando shooting was the deadliest mass shooting in the United States since the attacks on 9/11, leaving 49 people dead. City, state and federal officials are still investigating the deadly nightclub shooting, but have released the names of the 49 victims.¬†Officials say 50 people died in the attack at Pulse Orlando, a gay nightclub, including the gunman. An additional 53 people were injured.

The piece of shit gunman, an American-born man who pledged allegiance to ISIS entered a gay nightclub and started killing everyone inside. The gunman, Omar Mateen, 29, of Fort Pierce, Florida, had been interviewed by the FBI in 2013 and 2014 but had found not be be a threat. This same gunmen was able to obtain an assault rifle and there were no red flags raised by his background check even though he had been looked at by the FBI. It makes you think that if the FBI had looked at him why was there nothing in his background to show that he could be a potential threat? I refuse to comment more about this terrorist because that is what he and everyone related to ISIS want, to give them credit for the killings, to honor their horrible religion that only promotes hate and violence. Instead we will focus on the people that lost their lives that night and all those that made it and the heroes that stopped to help so many people who were shot.

No matter what, it is time that we make serious changes to our gun laws! How many more mass shootings do we need to have before we make serious changes that will make it harder for people to obtain guns!
