The loud mouth free-spoken Rex Ryan has officially joined ESPN, and will be apart of the NFL Sunday Countdown team.

Ryan who is the former head coach of the NY Jets and the Buffalo Bills will make his debut this upcoming Saturday when he will announce the FSU spring game. Once September rolls around Ryan will then focus his attention on the NFL. Not only will he be apart of the NFL Sunday Countdown team, but he will also make appearances on ESPN Radio, and SportsCenter.

“This is going to be a new experience for me and I am really excited about it,” Ryan said in the release. “I’ve been a coach for 30 years and I’ve been around football my entire life. I’m passionate about the game – just like the fans are, and I’ve coached in the league for a long time, so that’s the perspective I will bring to ESPN. I’m just going to show up and be myself and have fun with it.”

One thing is for sure, and that is Ryan will bring life to whatever show he is apart of.
